Aurora, IL (September 21,2018)- A motorcyclist suffered injury on Sunday after being involved in a crash with another vehicle in Aurora.
The rider, Matthew Thompson of Naperville, was travelling east on West Indian Trail when Hollie Williamson of Warrenville struck him as she attempted to make a left turn. According to authorities, the collision took place a little bit after 6pm in the 300 block of West Indian Trail.
Williamson claims that she checked ahead for oncoming traffic and saw that her path was clear before she attempted the turn. However, Thompson collide with the passenger side of her vehicle as she executed the left-hand turn. Responding police officers charged Williamson with several citations, including failure to yield, driving a vehicle without insurance, and driving with a suspended licence.
Thompson was taken to Aurora Hospital for treatment of his injuries following the crash.
